In its simplest form SEO comes down to two things:
On-page factors and off page factors.
On page being how your website code is setup. This
includes your basics such as title tags, meta data, site
navigation in relation to ranking goals, internal linking
structure, and content.
Off page factors are basically any links to your site from
outside the site.
This can include articles, directory submissions, blogging,
web 2.0, squidoo, Hub Pages, and more
Every industry is different and every keyword is
different. There is no silver bullet that will magically
get someone to page one of google overnight.
Most of the time we start seeing movement as soon as 30 days
and the results we are looking for in 90 days. There are
no guarantees as every site and keywords are different.
